Ongoing Projects
Our current projects are:
Having set foot within classrooms at the AEDEC school in Dakar, Senegal, it was immediately recognized by A3D's volunteers and members that the condition of the space in which the students learn and advance in their classwork is extremely poor. We are seeking $1200 per classroom, as described below.
Starting with AEDEC, a school populated by over 2000 middle and high school students from all over Africa, we have been working hard to get computers accessible to people in Africa. We feel that access to computers brings people one step closer to equality worldwide. Access to the Internet brings information to people's fingertips, communication to the farthest reaches of the Earth, and removes many of the limitations put on various civilizations by a lack of technology. This is an ongoing effort, and one well worth exploring. Thank you for your support.
Together with the City of Salem, A3D has decided to undertake an enormous mission. Salem is reknowned for its witch trials and Halloween-based themes. It has been a place where people flock to every October to be spooked, scared, and entertained. Other than that, Salem is known as just another historical city in New England for the remaining 11 months of the year.
